Ja. Wij openen de behuizing, meten alle cellen door en vervangen wat nodig is. Na revisie testen we of het BMS correct communiceert met het Bosch Smart System. Ophalen en bezorgen is gratis in heel Nederland.

De Smart-versie werkt met het Bosch Smart System (Bluetooth, Flow-app, nieuwste motoren). De gewone Powertube 500 werkt met het klassieke Bosch-systeem. Ze zijn niet uitwisselbaar: andere connector, ander BMS. Check het typenummer op je accu als je twijfelt.

Nee. De verticale en horizontale Powertube 500 Smart hebben een andere behuizingsvorm. Verticaal past in de onderbuis (downtube), horizontaal ligt platter in het frame. Ze zijn niet onderling verwisselbaar.

Wanneer u uw Bosch accu voor reparatie aan ons aanbied, starten we met een grondige diagnose om de staat van de accu te bepalen. Op basis van deze diagnose stellen we vast wat er nodig is om de accu te herstellen. Wij nemen contact met u op om de bevindingen te bespreken. Daarna kunt u beslissen of u de reparatie wilt laten uitvoeren of niet.

Ja, wij hebben al meerdere keren succesvol een reparatie kunnen uitvoeren bij dit type accu.

Nee, een refurbished accu is een accu die voor de verkoop volledig is gecontroleerd. Dit houdt in dat deze is gerepareerd, gereviseerd, schoongemaakt, geüpdatet en indien nodig van nieuwe onderdelen is voorzien. Hierdoor heeft een refurbished accu de kwaliteit van een nieuwe accu, maar betaal je veel minder.

De kosten van de reparatie worden altijd van tevoren (telefonisch of per mail) besproken zodra wij een diagnose hebben vastgesteld.

Bosch Powertube 500 Smart: de ingebouwde accu van je e-bike

De Bosch Powertube 500 Smart is een inbouwaccu van 500Wh die verticaal in de onderbuis (downtube) van je e-bike zit. Het is de opvolger van de gewone Powertube 500 en werkt uitsluitend met het Bosch Smart System. Dat betekent: Bluetooth-connectiviteit, firmware-updates via de Flow-app en compatibiliteit met de nieuwste Bosch-motoren zoals de Performance Line CX Smart.

Bij KWS Seuren repareren we deze accu regelmatig. Veelvoorkomende klachten: de accu laadt niet meer op, het bereik is flink afgenomen, of de e-bike herkent de Powertube niet meer na een software-update.

Wat maakt de Smart-versie anders?

De "Smart" in de naam verwijst naar de integratie met het Bosch Smart System. Dat systeem communiceert digitaal tussen motor, display en accu. De oudere Powertube 500 (zonder Smart) werkt met het klassieke Bosch-systeem en is niet uitwisselbaar met de Smart-variant.

Praktisch verschil: de Smart-versie heeft een ander BMS (Battery Management System) en een andere connector. Probeer dus nooit een klassieke Powertube in een Smart-frame te zetten. Past niet, werkt niet. Twijfel je welke variant jij hebt? Stuur ons een foto van de accu of het typenummer, dan zoeken we het uit.

Powertube 500 verticaal defect? Zo pakken wij het aan

Celvervanging is bij de Powertube 500 Smart serieus werk. De accu zit in een gesloten behuizing die zorgvuldig geopend moet worden. Wij vervangen de cellen, testen het BMS en controleren of de communicatie met het Smart System weer correct verloopt.
